We have many options for you to choose of how you want to learn French.

General Class Schedule:

Classes are offered once a week, Monday through Thursday and can meet at either 5:30 pm EST or 7:05 pm EST. Classes meet for 90 minutes.

If you'd like to join a group class and aren't sure about your level, please first request a free level evaluation by using our Evaluation Request Form before registering.

INTRODUCTORY 1

Basic vocabulary, key verbs, present tense, basic conversation and listening skills. 

INTRODUCTORY 2

Expands on irregular verb tenses in the present, develops conversational and vocabulary skills, and practices with the near future tense.

INTRODUCTORY 3

Finishes present tense, rounds out introductory students' vocabulary and verb knowledge before they begin learning past tense.

INTRODUCTORY 4

This class reviews all material covered in the first 3 introductory courses, and introduces the passé composé.

HIGH INTERMEDIATE 1

This class focuses on vocabulary acquisition and conversation practice with grammar supplements as needed. Students will be introduced to conditional, conditional perfect (conditionnel passé), and passive voice as well as ​infinitif & infinitif passé (d’avoir parlé, etc.)

INTERMEDIATE 1

This class further delves into passé composé (verbs that take être), and introduces the imperfect and the particles "Y" & "En."

HIGH INTERMEDIATE 2

This class continues to focus on vocabulary acquisition and conversation practice with grammar supplements as needed. Students will review past perfect (plus-que-parfait) and simple past (passé simple) as well as ​present participle, perfect participle.

INTERMEDIATE 2

This class reviews passé composé, imparfait and future, and introduces subjunctive in addition to focusing on conversation and reading comprehension skills.

ADVANCED

This conversation-based class is designed for advanced students seeking to improve their fluency.
