Rola Languages is a minority-owned, Latinx business. Our goal is to collaborate with other small businesses, so that we can elevate each other. Our Community Highlight is a free way for us to highlight you, your business and your services to our amazing clients. We want to highlight businesses and people who are a part of our community, or who should be! We want to hear more about you and who you are! It's free, and all we ask is that you give us a shoutout, as well.
Guitar Lessons By Fraser
Fraser Andras, Guitar, Piano, and Composition

We’re highlighting a former Rola Student, who is also our Founder Ed’s guitar teacher! Meet Fraser Andras! Fraser took 1 year of French classes at Rola, and he loved it so much, he is now our new Onsite Coordinator. He offers guitar and composition lessons, as well as basic piano, in Cambridge and at the Rola Offices! According to Ed, “Fraser’s thoughtful approach works so well, that I fired the app that I was using to learn guitar, and he even makes connections with his language training as he teaches music!”

I am an active composer, guitarist, and pianist based in New England. I have a background in classical, metal, rock, and folk. I have composed music for solo classical guitar, orchestra, various chamber ensembles, solo piano, and music for bands. I received a dual masters in music composition and classical guitar from Longy School of Music of the Bard College and a BM in guitar performance at The Hartt School with a minor in composition. I reside in Massachusetts, where I teach all styles of guitar, composition, and basic piano, perform regularly, and write new music. I am currently studying philosophy and creative writing for a post-bacc at University of New Orleans through their online program. I am also learning French (A2 level).

Shanell Whyte, owner of the brand Prettyy in Paintt, which serves as a safe space for those seeking to recreate the best version of themselves through beauty and thrives to empower, inspire, and positively impact the lives of others. The mission is to enhance natural beauty and instill a new level of confidence in every client, customer, and student. Prettyy In Paintt offers a variety of beauty services including eyelash extensions, makeup services, waxing, and more.
Prettyy in Paintt recently held a sold-out networking event called "Sis, You Can Sit With Us" for women in the BIPOC community.
Fly Together Fitness
Fly Together Fitness started when eleven pole dancers and instructors in the Boston area began discussing their dreams of opening a studio. All were from different professional backgrounds and in various stages of life, but they became friends, and later business partners, united by their love of pole. In 2019 they founded Fly Together Fitness with the goal of increasing the accessibility of pole dancing and pole fitness in the greater Boston area and creating a space in which anyone can grow and discover the benefits of pole, dance, arts and community!
