About the event
Rola is excited to promote language through art with our new program, Rola Paint Nights! You've heard about paint and sip, but this is even better. It's paint and learn!! That's right, we will be mixing art with language learning.
Join us for a 2-hour experience at Rola Languages. While our instructors will take you on a painting journey, they will also teach you important phrases of the language and history of the artist and country we are painting.
Painting instruction will be in English, and we will have breaks to let the paint dry and learn phrases in the target language! How fun!! We will also have some culturally appropriate snacks from each country.
Noche Española: Picasso Faces & Spanish is intrinsically linked to Spanish culture as Picasso was born in Málaga, Spain, on October 25, 1881. As one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, his work was deeply influenced by his Spanish heritage. He spent his formative years in Spain, and many of his early works reflect Spanish themes and subjects. Picasso's style evolved over his lifetime, but his Spanish roots remained a significant part of his identity and artistic expression. Picasso was fluent in Spanish and maintained a strong connection to his homeland throughout his life.
